Oberlin hosts free Black History Month events
Oberlin College presents a slate of free Black History Month events led by Henry Louis Gates Jr at Finney Chapel on Feb 10. The program includes performances by the Mapapa African Acrobats on Feb 19 and a staged production of The Colored Museum Feb 11–13 at Hall Auditorium. Public lectures, gallery talks, and community programs throughout February feature noted scholars, artists, and activists, with several ticketed events listed and free computer lessons at Oberlin Public Library through March.
