Sheffield man charged in wife's slaying
A 29 year old Sheffield Township man Larry D Simms was charged with aggravated murder for the November 27 shooting death of his wife Janice Simms. He was indicted by a Lorain County grand jury, jailed on a 100000 dollar cash bond, and is to be arraigned in Lorain County Common Pleas Court. A 25 caliber pistol was found at the home and Simms had a self inflicted chest wound.
