41 area youths nominated for service academies
U S Representative Charles A. Mosher announced 41 district nominations for U S service academies including Army Navy Air Force and Merchant Marine. Ten compete for the Military Academy vacancy and twenty for the Air Force Academy with five additional nominees through a special arrangement. The Merchant Marine slate totals fifteen applicants district wide, with several nominees eligible for multiple academies.
