Agnes Halderman, 53, widow of Afreyd Halderman, died Sunday at Reed Medling rest home after a long illness. Born March 4, 1871 in Fayetteville, she lived in Elyria 35 years and leaves two daughters Mildred Elbert and Florence Padley, a son Harold, and other relatives. Services planned in Middletown at Holy Trinity Church with burial there. Elizabeth Filker, 70, wife of Charles Filker, died suddenly at home on Milan Avenue. Born and married Brownhelm, she lived in Amherst since 1914 and belonged to St. Peter's church and Women’s Guild. Survived by her husband, a daughter Ervin Ehlert, a son Charles H., six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, a sister, and a brother. Services to be held at St. Peter's Evangelical and Reformed Church with burial in Brownhelm cemetery.
