Anne Scott, 69, was struck eight to ten times with a claw hammer in Elyria Michigan Avenue home. Her husband Cleveland Scott, 70, confessed at the scene and was arrested as she died after being hospitalized. He faces aggravated murder charges and is jailed on a $1 million bond. Neighbors described the couple as ordinary and close.
