Lyndon B Johnson School Aims for Public Service Not Civil Service
The Lyndon Baines Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas opens in early 1970. Dr. William Livingston seeks a high admission standard and a two year masters level program focusing on a generally responsible education for those entering all phases of public service. Johnson will not be a full time professor.
