Plan to Revitalize Lorain Downtown Unveiled
A New Lorain Association launched a major effort to revitalize Lorain’s Broadway business district from Lake Erie to the south city limits. A $60,000 planning study by the Lorain County Planning Commission aims to set a theme, assess feasibility, map traffic, save key buildings, and guide private and public investment over about 18 months. The project relies on city and business cooperation, with initial funding from the association, the city, and participating departments.
