Synthetic gasoline age near as plants rise in 1949
Howard Cummig of Hydrogen Research told the American Society of Mechanical Engineers that by 1960 motorists will largely use synthetic gasoline, with plants under construction and more than a dozen to start within six months. He said the process yields 85 90 percent gasoline and 10 15 percent diesel with superior quality.
