Center Ridge widening tops Lorain district safety list
After TRAC funding freeze, ODOT delayed new highway projects while Center Ridge road between Stoney Ridge and Lear-Nagle roads was rated the top priority in District 3 for reducing congestion and crashes. The 2.32 mile U.S. Route 20 segment saw 318 accidents from 2007 to 2009. $28.7 million would come from federal/state funds with $12.7 million local share, likely from a bond or levy.
