Bellevue priest found stabbed in Mexico City hotel room
Rev. Frederick J. Falce 53 of the Order of the Precious Blood, based in Dayton, was found stabbed to death in a Suites San Marino hotel room in central Mexico City. Embassy spokesman Vince Hovanec said Falce had changed rooms before his death, suggesting possible robbery as motive. Falce, from Pittsburgh, had been in Mexico to study Spanish and aid bishops in seminary fund raising. The embassy and Dayton officials arranged for his body to be returned, with the case under investigation by local authorities.
