Faymore faces license hearing over drug charges in clinic
Two Chronicle Telegram reporters testified that Faymore allowed improper drug sales and failed medical examinations at the Faymore Clinic in Columbus. Reporters Tom Ford and Karen Balmer described attempts by patients to buy prescribed drugs in the lobby and clinic parking lot as part of the probe. Undercover agents testified Faymore prescribed a wide range of drugs after brief checks, while other patients also sought to buy or trade medications. If convicted, Faymore could lose his medical license. The board plans to finish its case by Wednesday with Buckner to begin his defense the week of March 9.
