The two hour event, hosted by the MLK Holiday Commission, included spirituals by United Voices Community Choir and remarks by Superintendent Lester Schultz and Mayor Michael Keys. Williams, a trailblazing Black woman in air traffic control, urged ongoing action on issues in Black neighborhoods.
