Brill Seeks Avon Lake Municipal Judgeship
Avon Lake attorney Douglas M. Brill announces his independent candidacy for the six year municipal judgeship to be decided in the November election. He has served as prosecutor for Avon, Avon Lake and Sheffield Village for five years and proposes a night court for minor traffic offenses and local ordinance enforcement to boost city revenue. He supports the CCE program and would create a similar scheme locally. Brill is a Lorain County native, Ohio State and Toledo Law School graduate, and husband to his wife with a five year old daughter Lindsay.
