Suspect in slayings denies guilt in Fort Wayne
Calvin D. Perry III, named prime suspect in the slayings of a Fort Wayne newspaperman, his wife and son, is described by a minister as not a killer but a hurt, attention-seeking youth. The Rev. James Fincher said Perry, 18, told him he never killed and that he signed statements under pressure. Perry faced multiple charges from break-ins, burglary, and child molesting, held on $200,000 bond.
