Pair arrested in shooting case in North Ridgeville
Two men from Lorain were arrested in connection with a Jan. 4 shooting of Jacqueline Dienes in North Ridgeville. Christian Martinez, 20, was charged with attempted murder and felonious assault. Jonathan Barnette, 21, faces complicity to commit attempted murder and felonious assault charges. Dienes, a temporary Invacare employee, was shot while parked on Bender Road during a lunch break.

Two Lorain residents charged in toddler burn death
Andre Moore and Samone Boykins were arrested after a two month probe into the death of Brandon Williams H. 2, a toddler burned in November.
