She moved to Welcome Nursing Home Oberlin and worked as an assembler at Murray Ridge Elyria Oberlin workshop. The Lorain County History Center project in Elyria aims to convert the NRHP home at 284 Washington Ave into a museum center with offices a research library a large public room and a front reception area. A $1.6 million campaign has raised about $500,000 plus a $300,000 state grant.
