Catherine Cecilia Evenson known as Kay, 89, of Inverness Florida and formerly Vermilion, died January 5 2005. She was a 1933 Avon High School graduate who set state records in the 50 and 75 yard dashes and helped a girls basketball team. Survivors include husband Kenneth, daughters Suzanne Sally Sherrill Sandy Shelley and Robert, 18 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Burial at Maple Grove Cemetery Vermilion with services at St Marys Church Vermilion. Memorials to the American Heart Association.
