Swedish diplomat Raoul Wallenberg fate under renewed mystery
A Swedish Russian panel report opens the possibility Wallenberg did not die in 1947 in a Soviet prison and suggests Sweden may have failed to press for his return. It cites declassified files, questions Swedish actions, and notes Russians insistence he died in 1947. Prime Minister Persson pledges continued research.

Plans to raise Kursk submarine in April rescue
An international consortium plans in April to lift the Soviet submarine Kursk from the Barents Sea with its reactors and 22 missiles aboard. The operation, costing about 70 million dollars, would tow the vessel to Murmansk over three days, with 106 of 118 crew members still inside.
