Elyria police find dog shooting justified after warrant raid
The Elyria Police Department released body cam video and said an officer’s fatal shooting of a neighbor’s American pit bull during a Jan. 5 warrant arrest was justified. The dog charged the officer as he drew his pistol. the suspect, Donte Colbert, 21, was arrested on felonious assault counts.
