Lorain shooting leaves man in critical condition
Gregory R. Brazile, 30, was shot around 1:10 am outside his ex girlfriend’s home on Leavitt Road. He remains in critical condition at MetroHealth Medical Center as police recount a love triangle involved with his ex girlfriend and her new boyfriend Antwon President. President and Herman Seagers were charged with felonious assault and related weapons counts and held on $500,000 bonds.

Man Pleads Guilty in Elyria Officer Attack Case
Anthony Thomas, 29, pleaded guilty to assault and obstructing official business in the May 15 Elyria police station attack on Officer William Witt. Thomas remains jailed at Lorain County, with no sentence agreement reported.
Man beaten in Lorain leaves man hospitalized
A 28 year old Lorain man William Brown was severely beaten Tuesday night near 1706 Oberlin Avenue. Police say Brown sustained head and jaw injuries and was listed in fair condition at MetroHealth in Cleveland. Suspect Taylor Thompson 18 was arrested after a struggle in the 1200 block of West 18th Street and charged with felonious assault resisting arrest and obstructing. A second suspect remained at large as of Wednesday night. Brown claimed he was attacked while walking to a store after leaving a bar and denying the accusa tions. Thompson said he had video of the attack, which could not be found on his phone. The incident remains under investigation.
