She served on the ministerial staff at Cathedral of Praise Lorain and worked at Moen Elyria before retirement. Survived by husband Eiger Cape C. Clyde W Rader of Elyria a milwright at Actuen Inc before retirement died Friday at Community Health Partners in Lorain. He retired after 38 years at Moen and belonged to Faith Fellows Foursquare Church in Amherst. Survivors include his wife Betty 62 years son Jerry of Grafton daughter Ady Schmidt of Esna four grandchildren seven great grandchildren and several siblings. Funeral arrangements were announced with calling hours Sunday and Monday at Dicken Funeral Home and service Tuesday led by Pastor Witham Mouer at Faith Fellows Foursquare Church in Amherst. Burial will be Ridge Bit Memorial Park.
Elizabeth Anne Lutkemeier nee Miller 72 of Lorain died Saturday at New Life Hospice Residential Center after a long illness. Born in Booneville Missouri raised there she moved to Amherst in 1992 and lived at Lorain Manor since 2000. She retired in 1987 after four years as a home health care nurse. Survived by sons David and Richard, daughters Debra Susan Rebecca and Patty, seven grandchildren, brothers Paul and Robert, sister Marilyn. Services private. Gerald Hand 52 of Galena was indicted by a Delaware County grand jury on conspiracy to commit aggravated murder alongside existing charges in the deaths of Lori Hand and Donna Hand and his wife Mary Hand. A co defendant Walter Welch was paid to kill Mrs Hand, with the crime tied to life insurance motives. Hand’s trial dates include a March 4 escape case and a May 2 murder case. he remains jailed on 2.5 million bail.
