New Court's First Year A Busy One

In its first year, Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court led by Judge Henry P. Webber held 31 955 hearings. The figures include 447 juvenile cases 1 508 domestic relations hearings and 915 filed in that division. Divorces granted 411 motions 629 restraining orders 72 contempt proceedings 71 other cases 18. Juvenile side logged 76 child neglect hearings 78 dependent child 135 delinquent child 83 contributing to neglect and 2% contributing to delinquency. Also 10 juvenile traffic cases 18 marriage consents 9 paternity hearings 6 support hearings and 6 custody changes.
