Second crash at Grafton Road Route 57 intersection
Carlisle Township paramedics responded to a two vehicle collision at Grafton Road and Route 57. Leon Denomme 70 of Grafton was treated for minor injuries after his van was broadsided by Jasmine Murphy 18 of Columbia Station who was cited for failure to yield. Murphy and her passenger, an 18 year old male, were not injured. The incident followed another crash at the same intersection earlier in the week.

Big rig fire at Carlisle hardware lot 5:45 a.m.
Carlisle Township firefighters battled a tractor-trailer blaze at Tru Value Hardware early Thursday. The driver, awakened by flames from the wheel well, reported no injuries. The cab was burned but the trailer and lumber load remained undamaged. Damage estimated at 50,000 to 60,000 dollars.
