Teens flee blazing house with no way to call for help

Four English children ages 12 to 15 escaped a late night house fire in Eaton Township after their clothes dryer overheated, burning a small farmhouse. They tried flagging passing cars on Route 82 and later rode with a Gulf Station worker to relatives’ home. neighbors refused use of phones and parents were away.

Twin fire damages home. family displaced after dryer blaze
