Carry-out permit protest dismissed in Lorain council meeting
Lorain city council rejected a protest against John J Motto’s request to transfer a carry-out beer license from Long Ave to 2277 East 42nd St. The state Department of Liquor Control and council objections contested the move as within 500 feet of Southeast High School. The council’s objections were overruled and dismissed after a hearing.
