European champion Vinez flat with Sid Terris in poor bout

New York reports a noisy Edison Square Garden crowd of about 14 000 as Lucien Vinez loses decisively to Sid Terris in a ten round exhibition. Vinez spent the bout largely holding and covering up while Terris pressed forward. Spectators booed and left wallets lighter, with critics calling the display uneventful and uneven. Terris proved the busier fighter, while Vinez showed little initiative or punch.
