Columbia Gas System to buy synthetic gas for Baltimore plant
Columbia Gas System plans to purchase 200 million cubic feet daily of synthetic gas from a new plant near Baltimore, while Ohio sales remain limited. Gas will not be ready until 1973–74, and despite the new supply, Ohio demand will still exceed availability, sustaining existing caps on industrial and commercial loads. Seaman Donald W. Justen, son of William and Mary Justen of Elyria, served aboard the USS Harwood, later loaned to Turkey as TCG Kocatepe, and was reassigned to the AD 4 Shenandoah in Norfolk.
