Flood Cleanup Underway After Heavy Rain
Crews cleaned a 20 square foot mud patch by Saturday morning following heavy rainfall. Police and fire officials reported at least four motorists stalled in standing water on routes including Daguay Osborne Nichols Station and Folley. The Elyria Country Club valley areas Greenview and Woodside Drives flooded for the third time since last summer as the Black River rose to 14 feet after nearly 3 inches of rain.
