Theismann disputes Dolphins move and seven-point idea
Theismann, aging NFL signal caller and former CFL star, recounts why he didn’t join the Miami Dolphins after they drafted him in 1971. He chose Toronto Argonauts after Dolphins owner Joe Robbie refused to guarantee a $35,000 bonus, while Steve Williams endorses a seven-point touchdown rule and Tom Landry is profiled as a strategic master. Elyria area notes close with Rich Moore scoring 25 in a Friday win for First Baptist Christian over Brunswick Christian.
