Legionnaire disease linked to parrot fever findings
New research suggests the Philadelphia Legionnaires disease outbreak may stem from parrot fever. Blood tests showed four of five Legionnaires patients carried parrot fever antibodies. Dr. Leslie A. Page of the National Animal Disease Laboratory notes the finding is a suggestive lead guiding further testing.

HUD files Park Centre foreclosure in Cleveland
HUD filed a 33 million foreclosure in U S District Court against Carl Glickman and Park Central Associates of the Park Centre apartment and shopping complex in Cleveland. HUD says Glickman owes 29 million in principal and 4 million in interest on the HUD held mortgage. Tenants will not be evicted if rent remains paid. HUD seeks authority to sell after foreclosure. The mortgage was transferred to HUD in 1975 from Broadview Savings & Loan, which had issued it in 1972 for construction.
