Trail of dead wives haunts Arlington man in 1970s murder case
Arlington investigators reexamined the deaths and disappearances of Jack Reeves’s wives from 1961 to 1979. Sharon Reeves died of a gunshot in 1978, initially ruled a death by own action. later autopsy and exhumation suggested foul play. Myong Reeves’s drowning prompted murder suspicions, while Emilia Reeves, a Philippines mail‑order bride, vanished in 1979 amid a pattern of alleged abuse and abandonment. Police link a troubling sequence of marriages to possible killings.
