Lorain officer cleared in shooting case

Lorain County Prosecutor J D Tomlinson cleared Lorain Police Patrolman Isaiah Taylor of wrongdoing in the October shooting of Dustin Lee Terry. The decision says Taylor used less than lethal force first, then deadly force when Terry threatened officers. Terry, 26, has pleaded not guilty to aggravated robbery, robbery, breaking and entering, and gun specs, with a Jan. 13 hearing set in Lorain County Court.
