Mobile home toll from Alabama tornado and storm
Seven people faced a life or death choice as a tornado and severe storms struck the Southeast. In Alabama a tree crushed a mobile home near Rehobeth killing four occupants, including Lawana Henrich’s daughter and sister. Henrich and two others survived. The broader system caused deaths in Florida and Georgia and damaged over a thousand homes. Survey teams assess damage as meteorologists attribute the Alabama fatalities to a likely tornado.
