James KR Remy of Su438 Chestnut Ridge Ridgeville area was promoted to Private First Class at Fort Campbell Kentucky. Remy, son of Mr and Mrs Sanford Remy, attended Ridgeville High School and enlisted in the Army in November 1959.

North Ridgeville profile of Charles Hoskins who serves as city treasurer and treasurer of the Congregational Church and Ohio Conference of Congregational Christian Churches. A Cleveland securities analyst, he oversees city funds and payroll while supporting local clubs and church groups.
North Ridgeville Clerk C Val Spicer says he will not seek the auditor post due to very low pay. The auditor will be elected and paid 800 dollars a year while a combined bookkeeper and clerk role pays 1200 dollars annually. Spicer, an Elyria real estate man, notes the council set the pay scale and cites Avon as a size and income match for North Ridgeville.
The drive led by Citizens' Safety Committee aims to raise 1800 dollars for a second Ridgeville police cruiser. About 20 volunteers will canvass Homecrest Park allotment northwest of Rt. 76 and Chestnut Ridge area and north of Rt. 20 east of Rt. 76. Ronald Swan said 1800 dollars has been collected. a cruiser costs about 2700.
