Holstein claim a clean sweep of milk production honors in Lorain County Herd Improvement Association month report by Ray Eppley. The 36 herds totaled 4456 cows with 495 milking. High butterfat and milk averages cited for small and mid size herds include Ots Jyndes Columbia with 367 pounds butterfat and 1006 pounds milk per cow in December and 1¢ J E Ford Oberlin at 367 pounds butterfat and 726 pounds milk per cow.
