Seven Die in Shelby House Fire Including Five Children

Former Elyria Resident Dies in Florida
Grace Heinzerling of Elyria receives word that her brother Judge A. E. Lawrence, formerly of Elyria, died at his home in Sebring Florida. Lawrence left Elyria in 1916 and held roles as Sebring mayor in 1920 21 and 1924 25 and county judge from 1925 to 1928. He retired from law last year due to ill health. He was born in Birmingham Ohio and would have been 71 next February. Surviving are his widow and others.
