Ohio cities brace for lake effect snow and ice
Lorain and Elyria city officials outlined storm responses as AccuWeather warned of 2 feet or more of lake effect snow in the Great Lakes region through Sunday. NWS Cleveland placed Lorain County in a hazardous weather outlook with snow and ice possible into Thursday and beyond. Weather could push 12 to 24 inches in parts of Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York as bitter Arctic air moves in.
