Rolls Royce Sign Marks Clean Salvage Yard in Missouri
Jackson, Missouri based Johannes Auto Sales operates a neat salvage yard since 1963. Owner John Johannes says the junkyard image is outdated as parts are dissembled and displayed in a showroom style. A Rolls Royce on a 14 foot pole serves as a landmark sign. The yard emphasizes organization, self service and visible fencing, with parts like transmissions and wheels neatly arranged for customers.
