Avon council approves new police fire comms system
Avon council discusses adopting a centralized emergency communications plan costing about 5760 per year for both police and fire. The measure covers radio service, maintenance, telephone lines, and remote control to city hall, with current Avon Lake radio contract set to end. A tentative April start is planned, with state highway route decisions influencing timing and location for a new fire station.
