Driverless car crashes into building at Elysium Grille
A driverless vehicle owned by John Kensha of 1839 West Avenue damaged the front of the Elysium Soda Grille around 6 PM yesterday after climbing a curb. Police said Kensha’s brother was beside the driver when the accident occurred as the motor ran. Separate incidents: City Engineer J M Powell’s car and Myron Looy’s car collided on East Avenue near Fourth Street about 4:25 PM while Looy swerved to avoid two boys on bicycles. Richard Martin reported his car struck a parked vehicle on Sixth Street around 3:15 PM. Leo P Smith’s car was damaged on Broad Street by a vehicle registered to Henry Murphy of Oberlin yesterday afternoon.

WELLSBURG W Va Feb 27 Three miners are dead and two more injured after the thaw loosened mine roof collapsed. The deceased, all West Virginia and Pittsburgh Coal Co. employees, are Louis Arimie 26 Joseph Reitter Jr 19 and John Starinsky 24, all of Colliers.
