Dr. Fred Webber testifies in the Ludendorff-Hitler trial revealing Nationalists aimed to first repudiate the Versailles treaty and then form a wartime government if the beer revolt succeeded. The prosecutor questions the claim as the Reich trial proceeds with questions about Kahr and the revolt.

New York February 27 Gif ford Pinchot governor of Pennsylvania stated in an interview that the coal land scandal in Alaska would overshadow the Teapot Dome oil affair. He said the oil scandal is an opposition tactic to derail Roosevelt policies and promised more details on Paul Alaska’s interests once the oil probe ends. He denied aligning with Allan Johnson or President Coolidge for the Republican nomination. Pinchot, ill with a tooth abscess, planned to return to work next Monday and take no action in the interim.
