Appreciation For Garments Sent To Germany
Elyria Red Cross officials received a letter of thanks for garments sewn by volunteers and sent to the U S occupied zone in Germany. Helene Khemus said the clothing aided war orphans and other displaced persons in Crailsheim and surrounding counties. Executive secretary Mauss Edna Schropp urged continued help to finish remaining work and noted quilts and woolen materials still needed.
