Kenneth C. Gabel 86 of North Ridgeville Ohio died February 23 2013 after a lengthy illness at Ames Family Hospice House He served in the Navy on LST 285 in WWII and spent 30 years in North Ridgeville before moving to Clearwater Florida in 1990 He worked as director of production services for FirstEnergy retiring in 1990 and later worked six years at N U S Halliburton Survived by his wife Rita 13 grandchildren 11 great grandchildren and sister Lorene He was preceded in death by son William Frey and daughter in law Patricia Gabel Services held at Bogner Family Funeral Home with a Mass at St Peter Catholic Church Interment Rest Haven Memory Gardens Avon Donations to Ames Family Hospice House preferred.
