North Olmsted math whiz leads national junior high test

Luxury retirement complex planned for Detroit Road

Dayton firm Club West Associates plans a 100 unit luxury retirement apartment complex on 11 acres at 27569 Detroit Road near Village in the Park. Units rent 1200 to 1500 dollars monthly in one central building with amenities including a 140 seat theater, piano bar, juice stand, and a restaurant area. A 100 space central garage and valet service would serve residents.

Three youths arrested in Berea theft ring case

Berea police say they solved an aggravated burglary and multiple thefts from autos with three youths to be charged in Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court. An 18 year old won’t be charged as an adult due to timing. a 16 year old and a 14 year old will be charged as juveniles. The trio were linked to a stolen 1979 Ford linked to a garage break in on Fairpark Drive. A police pursuit near Baldwin Creek ended with the 18 year old fleeing but surrendering after being identified.
