Olmsted Falls backs tolls on Ohio Turnpike
Olmsted Falls City Council, on emergency basis, approved a resolution backing HB 79 to continue tolls on the Ohio Turnpike. The vote also halts an interchange plan at Columbia Road opposed by residents led by Bob Kennedy who warned against converting the toll road into a free, heavily commercialized corridor. A Cleveland firm's study suggests toll-free status could degrade the turnpike if handed to ODOT.
