Pilgrim Church Set for Sermons and Youth Programs
Pilgrim Community Church announces Sunday service led by student pastor Jerry Newcomer with a sermon titled Give Us Our Bread at 10 o’clock. Music directed by Miss Kathleen Johnson and Miss Lydia Michael to accompany worship. Adult Bible class led by Irs-860 and Joseph H Varner, with youth and children classes under Mrs Jessie Bauer and assistants. Junior and Senior Fellowships meet with planned activities, new youth hymnals issued, and a 7:30 pm community service featuring Dr Leonard Sudley and a 15-minute film Adventures in Friendliness. Members invited to declare Easter membership. Women’s Association meets Thursday at Mrs Wes sell’s home.
