Bank offers mortgage options to lower payments in Lorain County
Lorain County Savings and Trust Co bills two programs to ease home financing. A 12 percent loan is possible if the existing seller loan is 12 percent or less, with two points paid by the buyer and potential rate adjustments after three years. A buy down option lowers rate by 0.25 to 0.5 percent per point, on a three year demand loan with annual reviews. Both require at least 20 percent down and up to 25 years. Also, Robert N. Fauver retires as director and Michael B. Duffin is nominated to the board. Fauver served since 1959 and Duffin runs Duffin Manufacturing Co.
