The operation involved about fifty fighter bombers and twenty support aircraft with no U S losses reported. Lt General Do Cao Tri of South Vietnam was killed in a helicopter crash during the latest fighting.
The White House announced President Nixon would disclose government action to curb spiraling construction costs in an afternoon address. It said efforts to secure voluntary management labor agreements had been unsuccessful.

The Lorain County Regional Airport faces closure without more operating funds from Elyria Lorain and county commissioners. An audit underway will determine each government share, with authorities citing a $10 000 unpaid construction bill and operating losses since opening in 1968. West urges local support for hangars and an operator to keep the airport open.
Thirteen suspects, all men ages 18 to 24, were arraigned in Elyria Municipal Court after a Pandora's Box drug raid Saturday night. Bonds ranged from 2,500 to 5,000 dollars, with preliminary hearings set for March 2 and March 3. Authorities transported the detainees from Lorain County jail to Elyria City Hall for arraignments.
