Two mothers in the area launch a local POEM branch to help others with postpartum low mood. Co facilitator Leslie Froelich and Danielle Krause created the group after meeting in a new moms circle and noting the lack of local resources for perinatal mood issues.

He held roles at Notre Dame Brown University Naval Research Lab and Kent State before leading Notre Dame College of Science and serving as associate provost. His return to town reflects ongoing pulls from family.
Gov. Kasich signed a bill diverting about 1.3 million dollars in state funds away from Planned Parenthood to non abortion providers. The measure targets health programs such as HIV testing and cancer screenings while blocking funds to entities that perform or promote abortions. Opponents call it a political move while supporters say it protects taxpayer money for non abortion care.
