Ohio Supreme Court upholds product liability time limit
The court ruled 6-1 that a 2005 Ohio law setting a 10 year limit for product liability suits is constitutional but cannot be applied retroactively to Douglas Groch, injured at a General Motors Toledo plant 34 days before the law took effect. Groch’s case, involving a metal trimming press, proceeds in federal court.
